Alert Manager allows you to quickly inform users of important updates and announcements. These alerts can be sent immediately, or scheduled to be dispatched at a certain time. Alert Manager utilizes Lync® to detect user presence, and delivers alerts once users are available. This allows you to delete alerts once a problem is resolved, and users who were not logged in will never be notified of the problem.
Instant Technologies has also incorporated our Email-to-IM Gateway into the latest version of Alert Manager. This allows users who are not currently on IM to send IM messages to individual users, chat rooms, or distribution lists, utilizing the presence detection of Alert Manager.
